The #1 tip I receive from other Disney Dads and Moms when planning a DADventure to Walt Disney World is to take a time-out in the middle of the day and go back to the hotel to rest and/or swim.
Cool off. Rest up. Get away from the crowds in the parks in the height of the midday sun.
When choosing resorts to stay in (DADventure Disney’s Tips For Choosing the Right Disney Resort for You) – pools are a big part!
These aren’t your Grandma’s rectangular hole in the ground in the Catskills – these pools are adventures in their own! Themes, slides, splash pads, whirl pools, lazy rivers, and SO much more!
Focusing on the enjoyment of our Littles especially, let’s look at the best ones!
I’ve been combing the internet, researching favorite pools in Walt Disney World. I compiled lists from the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World With Kids 2019, DisneyFoodBlog, DisneyTouristBlog, Undercover Tourist, and MommyOctopus.
Using a special DADventure scoring spreadsheet, I tabulated the rankings from these great sources, worked out an average and compiled a comprehensive Top 10 list scoring plan to share with you. I know, I shouldn’t have. But, it’s ok – I like the work – I’m here for you! 😀
Keep this in mind – you’re not tied to the pool at to your resort. No sireebob! You can pool hop! Take a bus from your resort to a park, Disney Springs, or a water park. Then switch busses to get to the resort you want to try out! Fun times!
[The photos below are all from Disney World’s Official Website, unless stated differently in the photo caption. The pool descriptions are from Disney’s site too.]
After you read the list, hit the comments and let me know YOUR favorite pool on Disney property!
