DADventure Disney Tip #10 – LISTEN TO YOUR KIDS!

Seriously folks – focus and listen to them!

I visited Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge by myself our first night in the parks. The day I took the Littles to Batuu, I was so excited to share my love of Star Wars with them.

The Stormtroopers are an amazing interaction moment as they are walking around… unless you’re 5 and freaking out!

Ever feel like you’re being watched?

I didn’t listen and kept pushing them to say hi… I nearly ruined the whole thing.

FINALLY, I noticed just how scared he was and pulled ourselves out of the situation and headed to Docking Bay 7 Food & Cargo for some food and to regroup.

A little Endorian Fried Chicken Tip Yip can make everything better.

We enjoyed some Endorian Tip Yip. Don’t speak Batuu? Check out our post on how to survive Galaxy’s Edge for all the details!

However, it’s not just Star Wars Land. Characters, rides, crowds, fireworks, and so much more have the ability to frighten your little kids. We have to be sure we’re really listening and paying attention or we could ruin some really great moments.

Who’s with me?

What were you surprised your kids got frightened by at Walt Disney World? How do you help them cope? Share with me in the comments below or on Instagram and Facebook.

Cheers,
Keith
